Paranormal Suitcase is designed so that investigation recordings, photographs, sensor readings, notes and journal files stay primarily on your device.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Paranormal Suitcase, an Android application operated by DivineApps.
2. Microphone and audio recordings
Paranormal Suitcase requests microphone access for features such as EVP recording, Room Watch and Spirit Box session recording. Audio captured by the microphone is recorded and processed on your device. Raw recordings may be stored in the app's local investigation files. If you choose to export or save a recording, Android may place a copy in a device-accessible media or download location. Audio enhancement creates a separate processed copy and does not intentionally upload the original or processed recording to DivineApps.
3. Camera and photographs
Paranormal Suitcase requests camera access for tools including SLS Camera, Motion Camera, Evidence Camera, Sensor Overlay Camera and the optical portion of the REM Pod feature. Camera frames are processed on the device for the requested feature. Saved photographs may be written to your device's media storage. DivineApps does not intentionally receive or store your photographs.
4. Device sensors
The app may read device sensors such as the magnetometer, accelerometer, compass/orientation sensors and barometer when those sensors are available on your phone. These readings are used to operate tools such as K2 / EMF, Geophone, Anomaly Compass, Pressure Monitor, Sensor Overlay Camera, REM Pod and Room Watch. Sensor readings and event markers are processed locally and may be written into local investigation-session files. They are not intentionally transmitted to DivineApps.
5. SLS pose detection
The SLS Camera uses Google ML Kit pose-detection software to analyze visible-light camera frames and map detected body landmarks. Paranormal Suitcase does not use the SLS tool to identify a person, recognize a face or create a biometric identity profile.
6. Spirit Box and internet-radio connections
The Spirit Box can optionally connect to internet-radio directory services and third-party live radio streams. When you use that feature, normal internet connection information such as your IP address, request information and network metadata may be visible to the selected directory or radio-stream provider, their hosting providers, or your internet provider. Paranormal Suitcase may store station or source information locally with an investigation session so that known audio sources can be reviewed later. DivineApps does not control the privacy practices of third-party radio services.
7. Investigation Journal and local files
Investigation sessions, recordings, event markers, source logs, photographs and journal information are stored in app-specific storage on your device unless you intentionally export them. Exported files may be saved to Android media or download locations. You control those files through your device and any backup or synchronization services you have enabled.
8. Premium purchases
Paranormal Suitcase uses Google Play Billing for the optional Premium unlock. Google Play processes the purchase, payment information, Google account association, purchase token and entitlement status according to Google's policies. The app may query Google Play to determine whether Premium is owned and may store a local cached entitlement value. DivineApps does not receive your full payment-card details through the app.
9. App preferences
The app may store local settings and state such as tool preferences, Premium entitlement cache and tester-access state in eligible test builds. These settings are used to operate the app and are not intentionally sent to DivineApps.
10. Advertising, analytics, accounts and location
The current Android version of Paranormal Suitcase does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not require a Paranormal Suitcase user account, does not include Firebase Analytics and does not request device location permission. If those features change in a future release, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosures will be updated.
11. Permissions
Depending on the tool you use, Paranormal Suitcase may request or use microphone, camera, internet, audio-system and wake-lock capabilities. Optional hardware such as camera flash, magnetometer/compass, accelerometer and barometer may also be used when available. You can deny or revoke Android runtime permissions through your device settings, although the affected tools may not function without the required permission.
12. Backups and device services
Android or services configured on your device may back up app data or media according to your device, Google account, manufacturer, cloud-storage or backup settings. Those services are outside DivineApps' direct control and are governed by their own privacy policies.
13. Data sharing and sale
DivineApps does not sell personal information collected through Paranormal Suitcase. The app does not intentionally share your locally recorded investigation audio, photographs, journal content or sensor-session files with DivineApps or advertising companies. Data may be processed by Google Play when you use purchasing features and by third-party radio services when you choose to use live internet-radio functionality.
14. Retention and deletion
Because investigation data is stored primarily on your device, you can delete recordings, sessions, photographs or exported files using the app where deletion is offered or through Android's file and media controls. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app can remove app-specific local data, subject to copies you previously exported and any device or cloud backups you control. Google Play retains purchase records according to Google's own legal and account-retention requirements.
15. Security
Paranormal Suitcase is designed to keep investigation content local to the device unless a feature specifically requires a network connection. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your phone, exported files, backups and Google account.
16. Children and teens
Paranormal Suitcase does not provide social networking or account creation and is not designed to collect identifying information from children. Users should not intentionally record or store sensitive personal information about another person without appropriate permission.
17. International users
Google Play and third-party internet-radio services may process technical or transaction information in countries where they or their service providers operate. Privacy protections and government-access rules can differ by country.
18. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Paranormal Suitcase features, permissions, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
