Paranormal Suitcase is an investigation and documentation toolkit by DivineApps. Original recordings, photos, sensor logs and investigation notes are designed to stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them. The optional advertising, purchase and internet-radio services described below may process separate technical information.
1. Scope and contact
This policy covers Paranormal Suitcase on iOS and Android, operated by DivineApps in Arizona, USA. For app or privacy questions, contact us through DivineApps Support, including our public phone and text contact details.
2. Microphone, recordings and audio analysis
With your permission, EVP Recorder, Spirit Box sessions, Room Watch and investigations use the microphone to make audio recordings. Audio may be processed locally for meters, event markers, enhancements and possible-speech classification. Those classifications are fallible, not proof of voices or paranormal activity. Original audio and separate enhanced copies are saved locally in the app's evidence area; DivineApps does not intentionally receive your recorded room audio. If you export or share an audio file, the destination service's policies apply.
3. Camera, photos and video
Camera tools, including Spectral Scan, Shadow Scanner, Motion Camera, Evidence Camera, Sensor Overlay Camera and some REM-style features, require camera access. Camera frames may be analyzed on your device to detect movement, visible-light changes or body-pose landmarks. Images and recordings you choose to capture are stored locally or in user-selected export locations. DivineApps does not intentionally collect the original camera frames, investigation photos or videos on its servers.
4. Device sensors and compass location permission
Depending on the phone and feature, the app can use the magnetometer, motion sensors, accelerometer, orientation/heading and supported other sensors for EMF, Geophone, Anomaly Compass, Room Watch and related readings. The iOS compass may ask for When In Use location permission so iOS can provide heading data. Paranormal Suitcase does not intentionally store or transmit your precise GPS coordinates as investigation content. Sensor values and event timestamps may be saved with local evidence sessions.
5. Body-pose / spectral visualization
The iOS Spectral Scan uses Apple's on-device Vision body-pose analysis; Android versions may use Android pose-analysis technology. Pose joints are estimated from visible camera imagery and can be inaccurate in low light or cluttered scenes. The app does not intentionally perform face identification or create identity profiles from pose landmarks.
6. Optional Spirit Box radio streams
Some Spirit Box features can use internet-radio directories or third-party streams. If you activate a live stream, its provider and network services may receive normal connection data such as IP address, timing and requested stream or station. Paranormal Suitcase may save a source label locally for your review; DivineApps does not control the privacy practices of those radio services. The displayed frequency sweep is a virtual tool and does not turn your phone into a physical FM/AM receiver.
7. Local evidence, exports and backups
Investigation journals, raw and processed recordings, photos, event markers and sensor logs are stored in the app's device storage until you delete them or export them. Exported copies may be placed in the iOS Files/Photos destinations or Android device/media locations you choose. Device backups, cloud syncing or shared files are controlled by your phone or destination service provider and may outlast an app deletion.
8. Premium purchases
Paranormal Suitcase offers an optional one-time Lifetime Premium purchase, not a recurring subscription. On iOS, Apple's App Store and StoreKit handle payments, product availability, refund processes and purchase verification; on Android, Google Play handles eligible purchases. DivineApps does not receive your full payment-card details from the app. The app checks verified purchase entitlement to unlock paid tools and remove in-app ads. You can use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account on iOS.
9. Advertising, consent and third-party collection
The iOS app includes Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free experience when the applicable consent requirements and SDK configuration permit. Google and participating advertising or measurement partners may process information such as IP address, device/app identifiers, approximate region, ad interactions, diagnostic information and consent choices, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Depending on consent, regional rules and device settings, the ads may be personalized, non-personalized or limited. The iOS app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required and provide privacy options when available. Purchasing Lifetime Premium removes in-app banner advertising, but does not delete existing records held by payment providers or advertising partners. Android builds may differ in whether ads are present.
10. Your permissions and privacy choices
You can change microphone, camera, motion and location permissions in your phone's Settings. If available in the app's Settings, use Privacy Choices to review advertising consent options. You can also manage applicable Google ad settings and Apple device privacy settings. Denying a required permission may make the corresponding investigation tool unavailable. 11. App settings, analytics and accounts
Paranormal Suitcase may store local settings such as tool preferences, screen-awake preference and purchase entitlement state. Developer-only tester options may be present in development builds but are not intended for public Release builds. Paranormal Suitcase does not require a DivineApps user account for its core investigation tools. DivineApps does not intentionally upload your local evidence or investigation journal as general app analytics. Google and Apple services may still process technical information for ads, purchases, app distribution, crash reporting or fraud prevention in accordance with their policies.
12. Data retention and deletion
Delete evidence using available in-app controls, or remove the app's data through your device where supported. Removing Paranormal Suitcase can delete locally stored recordings, notes and session files that you have not exported, so make a copy first if they matter to you. Files already exported, backups, payment records, AdMob records and third-party stream logs may be retained separately under the respective provider's terms.
13. Sharing and sale of data
DivineApps does not sell your investigation recordings, photos, notes or evidence library. We do not intentionally transfer that local evidence to advertising companies. The app does integrate third-party advertising, purchasing and optional radio services, each of which may process its own technical and transaction data for service delivery, advertising, measurement, security or regulatory compliance. 14. Security and user responsibility
Investigation files may contain voices, images or private information about people around you. Only record others where lawful and appropriate. Protect access to your phone, exports and backups. No local storage or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
15. Children and sensitive settings
The app is not designed as a children's social service and does not create public user profiles. Users should avoid recording minors or sensitive personal details without appropriate permission. Paranormal claims are not established by the app's readings; they remain observations for independent review.
16. International processing
Apple, Google, advertising providers and optional radio services may process technical, consent or transaction information in countries outside your own. Local privacy laws and provider safeguards vary by jurisdiction.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as platform features, SDKs, permissions or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected by a new updated date at the top of this page.
